SURVEY ENGINEERS

Survey Engineers are involved in the installation, operation and maintenance of survey equipment on survey vessels, ROVs and other survey systems. Equipment type includes standard PCs and peripherals, GPS positioning equipment, acoustic positioning systems and sonar sensors such as side scan and multibeam echosounders, geophysical & seismic data acquisition systems. Survey engineers can also be involved in the positioning and data acquisition activities of a survey project.

Qualifications required: HND or above in electronic engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines or suitable time-served experience in other industries. Appropriate military or industrial training & experience is also acceptable.
