Large Diameter Drilling Service
Fugro can perform drilling of large diameter holes within a practical range from 0.5m to 7.0m. Holes can be drilled from the vertical to rakes of 45 degrees. A variety of down hole equipment and tools can be supplied to undertake under reaming, hole belling and rock socket grooves.
Monopile Construction
Fugro has specialised in developing techniques for the installation of large diameter monopiles, for use both as foundations and berthing/mooring dolphins for clients ranging from Main Contractors to Port Operators. In house jack-up platforms and drilling/pile installation equipment is deployed in conjunction with a variety of pile handling, driving, drilling and grouting systems to complete installations to suit the many different purposes for which monopiles are now being used.

The nature of specialist construction in the nearshore marine environment can vary as much as the coastal margins themselves. Fugro designs, manufactures and operates the specialist tools to achieve site specific solutions and has an enviable track record of successfully completed projects.
