- Thematic Mapping / Elevation Modeling: image interpretation and processing for terrain characterization, geological interpretation, seismic planning, and environmental mapping
- Ground/Structure Stability Mapping: Deformation studies over months, years, or decades
- Offshore Basin Screening (oil seeps): Identification of oil seepage from potential offshore reservoirs using satellite radar imagery; data is catalogued into a Global Seeps Database
