Fugro strongly believes in the importance of Corporate Governance. We set great store by a good balance between the interests of the different stakeholders. Good entrepreneurship, including integrity and transparency of decision-making by the Managing Board as well as proper supervision of this management are the starting points for Fugro's Corporate Governance policy. The Company also wishes to pay due consideration to the interests of the community.

The Corporate Governance policy of Fugro has been approved by the General Meeting of shareholders in its meeting of 19 May 2004.

And so it is with great pleasure that I introduce this section on Corporate Governance. Here we show the principles and procedures underlying Fugro's Corporate Governance. You will also find the relevant rules and regulations.
