Information on the prevailing or forecast metocean regime enhances day-to-day planning and allows offshore operational decisions to be made on an informed basis.

Fugro provide an integrated, global weather forecasting service. Deliverables include 3-day or 5-day site-specific forecasts, provided once or twice daily in textual or tabular formats.

Forecasts are produced using output from advanced numerical models, a world-wide data gathering network and satellite imagery. Working from local forecasting hubs,
the forecasters provide detailed interpretatin of site-specific weather patterns.

Each system combines flexible display and data management software with state-of-the-art sensors.
